SHORT BIO
Eli Sherman is a technical researcher on the AI Governance Research Team at Credo AI. Eli's research focuses on developing practical methods for overseeing the creation and use of high risk and general purpose AI systems. Eli is a member of the public working groups on AI risk management standards-setting at NIST and Meta's OpenLoop.
Eli earned a PhD in from the Computer Science Department at Johns Hopkins University, with a thesis focused on theoretical causal inference and applications in healthcare and clinical psychology. He held a Google Research PhD Fellowship in Machine Learning from 2020-2022.
