SHORT BIO
Leopold Müller has been a research associate at the Fraunhofer FIT, Germany since October 2023, where he is part of the Chair for Human-Centric Artificial Intelligence at the University of Bayreuth under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Niklas Kühl.
Following his graduation from Schickhardt-Gymnasium Herrenberg, Müller pursued his academic journey at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. There, he completed his Bachelor's degree from 2017 to 2021 and subsequently his Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management until 2023. During his master's thesis, he collaborated with Charité Berlin, focusing on AI-supported three-dimensional measurement of structures in laparoscopy. Müller also enhanced his practical skills in data-driven development during an internship at Porsche AG. Alongside his studies, he engaged in research in Safe Reinforcement Learning and Computer Vision, particularly in the context of automated production, as a research assistant.
