SHORT BIO
Liu Liu, graduated with a bachelor's degree in Information Engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2015, and obtained a doctoral degree in engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2020. In the same year, he joined Professor Lu Cewu's team at MVIG Lab, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, for postdoctoral research.
During his research career, he has published more than 20 SCI papers, including one as the first author in the top journal IEEE Transaction on Industrial Informatics (TII), one in the leading computer vision journal IEEE Transactions on Image Processing (TIP), and two papers in the prestigious computer vision conference IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR). In 2019, he was awarded the Best Paper at the International Conference on Industrial Informatics, and in November 2020, he received funding from the "Super Postdoctoral" program in Shanghai. In 2022, he was honored with the Best Paper Award from the journal TII.
Liu Liu's research primarily focuses on computer vision and he serves as a reviewer for several top journals and conferences, including TII, CVPR, ECCV, 3DV. His research interests span intelligent robotics, 6D pose estimation, and joint body part analysis.
