SHORT BIO
Kwang In Kim is an Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Artificial Intelligence and Electronic Engineering at POSTECH. He earned his BSc in computer engineering from Dongseo University in 1996, followed by an MSc and PhD in computer engineering from Kyungpook National University in 1998 and 2000, respectively.
From 2000 to 2013, he served as a post-doctoral researcher at KAIST, the Max-Planck-Institute for Biological Cybernetics, Saarland University, and the Max-Planck-Institute for Informatics.
Prior to his current role at POSTECH, he held positions as a professor at UNIST, a senior lecturer at the University of Bath, and a lecturer at Lancaster University. His research interests encompass machine learning, computer vision, computer graphics, and human-computer interaction.
