Doseok (Austin) Jang graduated from UC Berkeley with a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in May of 2023. There, he wrote five first-author papers on how to conduct efficient deep reinforcement learning on limited data from smart buildings to minimize energy consumption. After graduation, he cofounded Metropolize AI, a startup that aims to use large language models to automatically mass-generate non-player-characters (NPCs) for video games. He also works as an AI engineer at Observe Inc., applying large language models to observability.
