Susan Johnston currently teaches physics and calculus at Livermore High School in Livermore, CA. In her 30 year teaching career she has always been interested in finding new and innovative ways to support her students learning. This past year, she collaborated with Dr. David Rakestraw, from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, to improve inquiry learning through the use of phone sensors in the classroom and beyond.
