SHORT BIO
Ilya Tumkin, received his BS, MS in Chemistry Department from Saint Petersburg State University in 2008, 2010 and Ph.D. degrees in materials science from Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University in 2016. In 2016−2022, he was an Assistant and Associate Professor of Laser chemistry and Laser Materials Science at Saint Petersburg State University. From 2018 to 2022, he was a PI in Laser microfabrication lab (SPSU). At present, he is an Research Fellow of Applied Laser Technologies Group at Ruhr-Universität Bochum. His research interests include direct laser metal writing, ultrafast laser processing, three-dimensional microfabrication, and fabrication of non-enzymatic electrochemical sensors.
