SHORT BIO
Mark Adams coordinates the cosmic ray activities for the US QuarkNet program. As a professor emeritus at the University of Illinois at Chicago he enjoys mentoring high school teachers and students, performing experiments on the top of sky scrapers and in deep tunnels. His high energy physics research has included deep inelastic scattering measurements of quarks, diboson production, searches for leptoquarks and a Z', and, over a period of 30 years, the search for, and discovery of, the top quark and Higgs boson.
