SHORT BIO
Yuxi /’jʊ’ʃiː/ Xie is a fourth-year Ph.D. student in the Web Information Retrieval / Natural Language Processing Group at the National University of Singapore. She is now visiting the UCSB NLP group supervised by Prof. William Yang Wang. Prior to that, she received B.S. in Data Science and Big Data Technology from the School of Electronics Engineering and Computer Science at Peking University. Her primary research focus is on Multimodal and Language Model Reasoning, working on developing training and inference-time algorithms to enhance the reasoning capabilities of large foundation models, including both multimodal and language models.
