SHORT BIO
David L. Morgan holds a Ph.D. in theoretical particle physics from the College of William and Mary, and is currently an Assistant Professor of Physics at Richard Bland College of William and Mary. His publications have appeared in Physical Review, The Astrophysical Journal, The Physics Teacher, and The International Journal of Astrobiology. In 2004, Dr. Morgan received an EST/Sloane Foundation commission to co-author “The Osiander Preface” - a play which explores the circumstances surrounding the publication of Nicolaus Copernicus’s “On the Revolutions of the Heavenly Spheres”. He as also written extensively on the intersections between physics, philosophy, and pop culture for Open Court Press. His next book "Why Something?" (@ButWhySomething) will be released in the fall.
