Dr Ho joined Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2011 as a Physics lecturer. He is passionate about education and has spearheaded a few initiatives in the last few years. He has taught the Engineering Physics course since he joined and has been continually refining it. Dr Ho also helped set up the Making and Tinkering course in 2014. He has be given a few teaching awards, including the Nanyang Education Award (University, Gold) in 2018. Currently, he is the Associate Dean (Academic) for College of Science.
