Hello! I'm Seo Hyun ("Elina") Kim, a first-year resident at University of California San Diego Internal Medicine residency program. I graduated from Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and did my undergraduate studies in biology and mathematics at Northwestern University. I'm passionate toward patient-centered medicine, increasing diversity in medicine, and improving medical access for un/underinsured individuals. My goal is to become an inflammatory bowel disease expert in the field of gastroenterology to improve the health and life quality of patients who suffer from IBD and to increase access to care for undersupported IBD patients.
