Alice Chen is a current M.D. Candidate at the George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences in DC. She has an interest in both basic science and clinical research, and is currently pursuing a clinical research year in dermatology at Northwestern University in Chicago. Her secondary interests lie in global health, medical journalism, and teaching/tutoring. Upon completing her medical training, she hopes to become a physician-scientist and conduct multidisciplinary research with the goal of long-term improvement in patient care . She is originally from Portland, Oregon, where she enjoys hiking and biking with her family during her free time.
