SHORT BIO
I am a research fellow at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in the Department of Plastic surgery. I completed my medical school education at Texas Tech University and now I am diving into a field of research that inspires and excites me. My major focus is on lymphedema and lymphatics, a largely unstudied subject. Previous to medical school I grew up in San Antonio, Texas. I was raised by a strong family of doctors and had an interest in surgery early on. I am very interested in plastic surgery because of the creative solutions that provide patients new opportunities at life.
