I am a second-year medical student at UT Southwestern Medical School, interested in women’s health and urology. Before medical school, I had a wide range of women’s health experiences from breast cancer research to vaccine development. Since beginning my medical education, I have found that I am especially passionate about the intersection of basic science research and clinical practice in areas were large gaps in funding and knowledge exist. I have been focusing my research on recurrent urinary tract infections both through clinical and basic science projects. In my free time I enjoy crafting, gardening, and organizing activities for kids at a local women’s shelter.
