My name is Mikaela Glass, and I am a third year medical student at New York Medical College. I am interested in the field of OB/GYN and public health policy. I was a co-president for the NYMC AMA Chapter from 2021-2022. In addition, I am one of two class representatives on our Medical Student Research Committee, and I led dozens of medical student research seminars throughout my first and second year of medical school. I am hoping to continue to conduct research that examines clinical outcomes to gain a better understanding on how we can shape health care policy and public health initiatives for OB/GYN patients.
