SHORT BIO
Lauren Druml is currently in her fourth year of medical school at Drexel University College of Medicine, pursuing her dream of becoming a physician. During medical school she worked closely with underserved communities, becoming witness to the profound impact of poverty and substance misuse. This fueled her commitment to providing healthcare to those in need. Lauren supports a holistic approach to healthcare and has been moved by the many physicians who not only treat illnesses but also educate patients and connect them with vital social resources. It is this holistic approach to healthcare, emphasizing disease prevention and patient empowerment, that resonates most deeply with her aspirations as a future physician. As she approaches the culmination of her medical school journey, she eagerly anticipates the next step in her career, looking forward to becoming a dedicated resident physician.
