Jessica Zimmer grew up in London, Ohio and attended The Ohio State University for her undergraduate studies, graduating summa cum laude with a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Spanish, Latin American Literature and Culture. While at OSUCOM, Jess has continued to foster her passions including accessible health care and language access for the Latinx population in Columbus through La Clinica Latina, Spanish Free Clinic as well as medical education, working at various levels of the Ultrasound Interest Group, including now President, to deliver and develop meaningful ultrasound curriculum for medical students. After graduation, she plans to pursue residency training in Internal Medicine and pursue a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care.
