SHORT BIO
Rose Dever is a 3rd year medical student at Eastern Virginia Medical School. She earned her undergraduate degree in Neurobiology and Physiology at the University of Maryland College Park, where she also earned a minor in Art History. During the COVID pandemic, she worked at a community clinic that provided care to underserved communities in the Washington, DC area. Since her first year of medical school, she has been an active member of the Medical Society of Virginia (MSV), holding positions as the Vice President of the EVMS chapter and the state-wide co-chair for medical student Community Engagement. She is passionate about advocating for a more just and equitable medical system, and through her involvement with MSV has had the opportunity to educate Virginia lawmakers on the importance of this goal. She hopes to pursue a career in primary care after graduating medical school.
