SHORT BIO

Amanda Carrasco is a PhD student at UCLA in the Higher Education and Organizational Change (HEOC) program. She has worked as a research analyst on the National Institutes of Health U01 Grant titled “Impact of Culturally Aware Mentoring Interventions on Research Mentors and Graduate Training Programs” since October 2020 alongside her advisor, Dr. Sylvia Hurtado. She earned her master’s degree in HEOC at UCLA and earned a bachelor’s degree in Ethnic Studies and Sociology from the University of Utah.
