SHORT BIO

I am a PhD Student at UCLA, advised by Keith Holyoak and Hongjing Lu. My current projects fall under concept induction, relational reasoning, re-representation, and computational models of these processes. Some of the questions I ask are: What are mechanisms of relational category learning? How do we re-represent, or arrive at the appropriate representation, for a task? How do we learn abstracted or domain-general representations? In addition, I am highly interested in representational interpretability in deep neural networks--that is, the possibility of uncovering latent semantic knowledge and distinct computational regions, as well as developing methods of probing such non-obvious organization.
