SHORT BIO
Elena Savinova is a PhD cadidate at the Centre for Language Studies in Radboud University, Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Her research project investigates how subjectivity is expressed in the news online, including news on social media, and how subjectivity affects reader’s online processing and offline evaluation of news stories. She uses a combination of computational approaches, corpus research and online crowdsourcing experiments to answer these questions.
