I am an Assistant Professor of Physics at East Carolina University. I am also the Learning Assistant Program Director at ECU. My research focuses on different ways that students collaborate in novel pedagogical environments, assessing students' scientific practices, and ways that programs influence retention to the university and persistence within the discipline.
