SHORT BIO
Yapeng Tian is an assistant professor in the department of computer science at the University of Texas at Dallas. His research interests include computer vision, computer audition, and multimodal learning. His current research focuses on building intelligent systems that can learn to see, hear, and reason about daily perceived scenes in the physical world and applying the developed algorithms to broad AI applications, such as VR/AR, HCI, Healthcare, and Robotics. He has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed papers in computer vision and artificial intelligence venues and organized two tutorials at CVPR 2021 and WACV 2021.
