Zhonghao Shi is a 4th year PhD student in Prof. Maja Matarić’s Interaction Lab at University of Southern California (USC). My research is focused on improving human activity understanding capabilities of socially assistive agents and robots, so that they can generalize and adapt to each user’s multimodal, heterogeneous, noisy, and imperfect real-world data, while personalizing and assisting each user’s unique and diverse needs.
