"I came to the United States in 1993 after receiving a Master's degree in Peking University, Beijing, China. My undergraduate study was in Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, from 1985 - 1990.

From 1993 to 1999 I attended the physics department in the University of California - San Diego. After receiving a Ph. D. in Physics from UC-San Diego in early 1999, I joined the Storage Technology Division of IBM, located in San Jose, California, as a test engineer in product development.

In the summer of 2002, I moved to Syracuse, New York for family reasons. Between 2003 and 2005, I taught physics courses in Le Moyne College, Syracuse, New York.

In 2005 I joined MU Department of Physics and Astronomy. Since then I have been teaching PHY1210 (College Physics I) and PHY1220 (College Physics II) every year."
