SHORT BIO
I am a third year Ph.D. student at Cornell studying Transportation Engineering, where I am fortunate enough to work with Samitha Samaranayake. In terms of methodology, I'm focusing on discrete optimization. In applications, I'm interested in Mobility-on-Demand services and Mobility-as-a-Service systems. My recent projects are developing heuristics for solving large-scale vehicle routing problems with time windows and developing passenger-vehicle matching algorithms considering travelers' behavior and future value. While at Seoul National University (SNU) for M.S. degree, I was advised by Dong-Kyu Kim. I studied discrete choice analysis and machine learning. I received my B.S. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from SNU in 2018.
