SHORT BIO
Mengyuan Liu is Associate Professor in Sun Yat-sen University. He received Ph.D. degree in 2017 under the supervision of Prof. Hong Liu from the School of EE&CS, Peking University (PKU), China. He was a research fellow supervised by Prof. Junsong Yuan and Prof. Kai-Kuang Ma in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. His research interests include human action recognition and abnormal detection using RGB, depth and skeleton data. Related methods have been published in T-CSVT, T-MM, PR, CVPR, AAAI and IJCAI. He has been invited to be a Technical Program Committee (TPC) member for ACM MM 2018 and 2019. He also serves as a reviewer for many international journals and conferences such as T-PAMI, T-IP, T-CSVT, CVIU, ACM MM, ICCV and CVPR.
