SHORT BIO
Gregory Paul Spell was born on February 17th, 1993 in Tucson, Arizona, where he lived until August 2011. He attended Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University, and in May 2015, he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from A.S.U. To complement that degree, he also completed minors in History and Mathematics, both of which he almost enjoyed more than his major course of study. That enjoyment notwithstanding, he has pursued a Philosophy Doctorate in Electrical and Computer Engineering since August 2015, attending Duke University in Durham, N.C. In May 2018, he obtained a Master’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from Duke. He expects to graduate with his PhD in Spring of 2023, and in 2022 began working as a machine learning engineer for CoVar, LLC in Durham.
