Aidan Boyd is a fifth year PhD candidate at the University of Notre Dame. He graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the National University of Ireland, Galway and has since been working as a research assistant under advisors Dr. Adam Czajka and Dr. Kevin Bowyer. He attained a Masters degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 2021. His interests include computer vision, deep learning, biometrics and the incorporation of human intelligence into machine learning algorithms.
