SHORT BIO
Wenhan Yang is an associate researcher with the Distributed High Performance Software Fundamental Research Laboratory, Pengcheng National Lab, China. He received his PhD (Sep, 2018) in Computer Application Technology from Peking University. From September 2012 – September 2018, he was a Ph.D. candidate in Wangxuan Institute of Computer Technology at Peking University (WICT). He was a member of Spatial and Temporal Restoration Understanding and Compression Team (STRUCT) with WICT, PKU.
From Mar. 2019 to Mar. 2021, he was a Postdoc Fellow with the Department of Computer Science, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China. From Apr. 2021 to Sep. 2022, he was a Wallenberg-NTU Presidential Postdoctoral Fellow with the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technology University, Singapore. From Sep. 2015 to sep. 2016, He visited the Learning and Vision Lab, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singaore. His research interests include image/video enhancement, bad weather retoraton, image/video compression, joint visual enhancement/coding and understanding. He also serves/served as an Area and Session Chair of ICME-2021.
