SHORT BIO

My name is Yuchen Zhuang. I am a Machine Learning Ph.D. student in Georgia Institute of Technology. My research interests are mainly in Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, and Data Mining, under the supervision of Dr. Chao Zhang and Dr. Le Song. I am researching and interested in the following directions:

Uncertainty Motivated Tasks: Uncertainty Quantification, Model Calibration, Out-of-distribution Detection, and Data Quatlity Esimation; Model Generalization Capability: Zero-Shot Learning and other open-domain tasks, Multi-Modal Learning; Information Extraction: Scientific IE (Information Extraction), Multi-Modal IE, and Document-Level IE.

Before that, I have obtained my master degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology, and accomplished my undergraduate study in Information Engineering, Southeast University, where I worked under the supervision of Dr. Chuan Zhang and mainly researched in mathematical and probabilistic modeling in multi-scale communication system.
