SHORT BIO
Khadige Abboud is a Research Scientist in Alexa AI at Amazon, Cambridge, MA, USA, working on Natural Language Understanding for smart conversational agents. Prior to that, she received the Ph.D. and MASc degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Waterloo, ON, Canada in 2009 and 2015, respectively, and the B.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering from Kuwait University, Kuwait in 2007. From 2015 – 2016, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Waterloo working in the field of vehicular communication networks. From 2017 - 2019, she worked as principal research engineer in OSRAM Sylvania. Her research interests include modeling and analysis for connected IoT devices and smart conversational agents.
