David Savage, MD, PhD is a hematology/oncology fellow at Scripps in La Jolla, CA. Dr. Savage completed the Medical Scientist Training Program at the University of Texas McGovern Medical School in Houston, TX. It took five research years to finish his Ph.D. Subsequently, he completed his internal medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic in northern Ohio and at the University of California San Diego. Before medicine, Dr. Savage spent two gap years working as a JAVA software developer in Dallas, TX.
