SHORT BIO
Suk-Ju Kang received the B.S. degree in electronic engineering from Sogang University, South Korea, in 2006, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the Pohang University of Science and Technology, in 2011. From 2011 to 2012, he was a Senior Researcher with LG Display, where he was a Project Leader for resolution enhancement and multiview 3D system projects. From 2012 to 2015, he was an Assistant Professor of electrical engineering with the Dong-A University, Busan. He is currently a Professor of electronic engineering with Sogang University. He was a recipient of the IEIE/IEEE Joint Award for Young IT Engineer of the Year, in 2019. His current research interests include image analysis and enhancement, video processing, multimedia signal processing, circuit design for display systems, and deep learning systems.
