SHORT BIO
Lucy Lu Wang is an Assistant Professor at the University of Washington Information School. She also holds Adjunct appointment in Computer Science & Engineering and Biomedical Informatics & Medical Education, and is a Visiting Scientist at the Allen Institute for AI (AI2). Her research asks whether AI and natural language processing techniques can make sense of scientific output and help people make better health-related decisions.
