SHORT BIO
Dr. Bryana Ferris was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina and raised in Georgia. She is proud of her West Indian heritage, born to parents from St. Thomas and Antigua. She loves the beach and enjoys visiting her family for vacation. She is the first physician in her family and hopes to not be the last!
She attended Mercer University in Macon, Georgia where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Global Health Studies. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She attended Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia where she earned her Doctorate of Medicine. She is now a 3rd year Pediatrics Resident at Morehouse School of Medicine.
She is currently the community service co-chair for her program. She has a passion for mentoring and tutoring, and frequently discusses pathways to medical careers with high school, college, and medical students. She desires to pursue a career in general pediatrics in the outpatient setting.
