SHORT BIO
My name is Uzoma Ahiarakwe and I am a medical student at Eastern Virginia Medical School Currently, I am completing a one-year research fellowship with the Department of Orthopaedics at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine where I am working shoulder specialist Dr. Uma Srikumaran to explore my interest in Orthopaedics. Since I was 10 years old, I genuinely can't remember wanting to be anything else. I feel like there is a gap in adequate healthcare for people who look like me and I want to be able to help close that gap. Today I am starting with “Trends in analgesic medication claims after primary total shoulder arthroplasty in patients with a mental health diagnosis.”
