SHORT BIO
I was born in Cameroon, Central Africa and moved to the United States at the age of 13, with the goal of eventually becoming a doctor. I went to the University of Oregon and graduated with a BS in Biology before starting medical school at OHSU. Coming from Sub-Saharan Africa and having been infected with malaria many times myself, I understand the need for an effective vaccine, which influenced my decision to volunteer in the Wilder Lab, and I've enjoyed working there over the past 2 years. In terms of future plans, I'm currently considering specializing in either general surgery or emergency medicine. Outside of school, I enjoy cooking, dancing, watching TV and hanging out with friends.
