SHORT BIO
Dr. Zhixuan Chu is a researcher at Ant Group, bringing immense expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science. He obtained his Ph.D. in Statistics and Master's in Computer Science from the University of Georgia, complementing his Bachelor's in Statistics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His research focuses on developing secure, trustworthy, and socially responsible AI systems by exploring critical issues like causal inference, fairness, robustness, and interpretability of machine learning models. Dr. Chu is especially passionate about mitigating risks posed by large language models, working to ensure AI positively impacts society, the environment, and the economy. He has published over 20 papers in top-tier computer science conferences and journals. His distinguished service includes being a Program Committee Member for premier AI conferences including NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, IJCAI, KDD, AAAI, and more.
