SHORT BIO
Claudio Coppola is a Machine Learning and Robotics Researcher employed at Amazon. In 2022 he Completed a postdoc at the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science of the Queen Mary University of London (UK). In 2013, he received an MSc degree (cum laude) in computer engineering from the University of Naples Federico II, Italy. He obtained a PhD in Robotic Perception from the University of Lincoln, UK, in 2018. His current research interests include Robotic Perception and Robot Learning, focusing on Human and Robot Activity Understanding, Visual and Tactile Perception, and Learning from Human Demonstrations. Dr Coppola published in several high-level international journals and conferences and has broad experience working with industrial partners as a Machine Learning Engineer.
