I received my Ph.D. in Psychology from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York (CUNY). Prior to joining Case Western Reserve University, I was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Lehman College, CUNY. My research to date has examined predictors influencing language difficulties in school-aged children. Specifically, I have examined relations between motor skills and language abilities. I have also examined factors that predict stigma towards people with disabilities, both in the United States and across cultures.
