Mana Ashida is currently working for Yahoo Japan Corporation. She has a B. A. in Linguistics from International Christian University and M. Sc. in Computer Sciences from Tokyo Metropolitan University. She is passionate about the NLP applications to tackle social problems, including but not limited to, the automatic generation of counter-narrative against online hate speech and microaggressions, and the multilingual COVID-19 mythbuster parallel corpus.
