SHORT BIO

Eleanor is a second-year Ph.D. in Computer Science at ETH Zürich, where she is supervised by Ryan Cotterell and Mrinmaya Sachan. She is in the Direct Doctorate program and also obtained her Master’s in Computer Science at ETH Zürich. She is mainly interested in generating and understanding long texts. To this end, she has recently been dabbling into document-level machine translation, coreference resolution, and coherence modeling. She also likes fun applications of natural language generation (news generation, novel generation, etc.).​
