SHORT BIO
I received my B.S. in molecular biology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. After a few years as a research tech in several microbial ecology labs, I shifted my focus to fish biology and ecological modeling. I received a M.S. in biological oceanography at the University of Hawaiʻi at Manoa while researching growth of deep-sea fishes. Currently I work as a research affiliate in the lab of Dr. Peter Dudley in the Fisheries Collaborative Program at the University of California Santa Cruz, where I work as part of a team on ecological and physiological modeling of salmonids and sturgeon to inform management and restoration efforts.
