SHORT BIO
Trish Schulte is a professor and Canada Research Chair in the Department of Zoology at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Her research program investigates the effects of environmental stressors in fish across levels of biological organization. Trish received her BSc and MSc from UBC, where she worked with Peter Hochachka, and her PhD from Stanford University. She began her academic career as an assistant professor at the University of Waterloo, moving back to UBC in 2001, becoming a full professor in 2010. She is currently a handling editor with the Journal of Experimental Biology and is a former co-editor in chief of the journal Physiological & Biochemical Zoology. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and is a recipient of the Award of Excellence from the American Fisheries Society Physiology section.
