SHORT BIO
Jason Fries is a research scientist at Stanford University's Center for Biomedical Informatics Research. His research focuses on applications of machine learning in healthcare. His interests include weakly supervised and few-shot learning, multimodal reasoning, and making machine learning accessible to non-computer scientists. He previously completed his postdoc in computer science at Stanford where he collaborated on development of the weakly supervised framework Snorkel.
