SHORT BIO

I am Chenxi, a PhD student at the computer science department of City, University of London. I am currently a research intern at Google DeepMind in Amsterdam, working on parameter-efficient modelling and crosslingual NLP. Previously during my PhD I also interned at Amazon Alexa AI in Cambridge and Huawei Noah’s Ark Lab in London and visited MBZUAI as a research assistant.

My PhD research focuses on Natural Language Understanding and Generation, and Multimodal Learning with Knowledge and Reasoning. In my most recent projects, I have also explored diffusion language models.
