My name is Yan Liu. My primary research interest is in the area of Natural Language Processing, Multi-Modality Computing, and AI Ethics, intending to learn with more trustworthy models and make robust decisions across environments and tasks (e.g. natural language inference, semantic parsing, visual question answering, code generation) like human beings. Before this, I obtained my master's degree from Zhejiang University in 2022 and my bachelor's degree from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2019, both majoring in Computer Science. During the undergraduate and graduate study stages, I explored natural language processing tasks and vision language tasks via deep learning and mainly focused on text generation, semantic parsing, interpretability, visual question answering, code generation tasks, etc. From June 2022 to March 2023, I worked as a research assistant in the Data, Knowledge and Intelligence (DKI) group at Microsoft Research Asia. During this experience, I mainly explore the important research topic, AI Fairness, under the supervision of SR Principal Research Manager, Jianguang Lou.
