SHORT BIO

Devansh is a PhD candidate in Computational and Mathematical Engineering at Stanford University. His research focuses on the development of incentive schemes and market mechanisms to more equitably and fairly allocate resources across a range of markets, including transportation, labor, and artificial currency markets. In particular, he is interested in applying tools from algorithmic game theory, market design, and optimization to align user's incentives with allocations that satisfy certain desirable fairness and equity criteria in problems such as traffic routing, the allocation of scarce public resources to people, and the allocation of workers to firms. More broadly, he is interested working at the intersection of operations research and economics. Prior to joining Stanford, he received his B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering and B.A. in Applied Mathematics with highest distinction from the University of California Berkeley.
